TitleDeed to lead the uses of a fine to be levied by Edward Oakes of Sheffield, merchant and Ann his wife to George Eadon of Sheffield, gentleman, of a third part of a parcel of land near the river Sheaf at Sheffield, bounded on the south by the road from Stude Hill to the Pond Mill (4013 square yards) of a nearby parcel bounded on the west by the tail goit of Mill Pond Forge (1000 square yards) and of several messuages warehouses, and workshops erected or being built upon the said lands and of a parcel of land, late part of Gleadless Common, allotted under the Handsworth Inclosure Act (12 acres 2 roods 20 perches) bounded on the east by Hag Lane upon trust to the use of such declaration as Oakes may make be deed or will, and for want of such, to the use of Oakes to bar Ann's entitlement to dower therein.
