Description
To wife for life, one-third of real estate in lieu of dower; to eldest son William (illegitimate) the possession and tenant right of the farm at Press which testator rents ofMr John Nuttall; to second son David, a newly erected house, and a garden and close at Alton Ashover; to son James, two small pieced of land in the parish of Ashover, on the east side of the turnpike leading from Tupton at Littlemoor, with gardens adjoining; to daughter Hannah for life, a dwelling house and parcel of landat Press, with remainder to Hannah's children as tenants in commonand in default to son David and daughters Mary and Rosamund-Elizabeth as tenants in common; to daughter Rosamund-Elizabeth three further dwelling houses at Littlemoor; to son William another dwelling house and four acres of land at Littlemoor; to son James £10; William to be executor and to pay funeral expenses and testator's debt of £84 from Samuel Beardow and out of this to be put out at interest and interest paid to testator's wife for life, and then to be divided equally between son David and daughters Hannah and Rosamund-Elizabeth; to son William, residue of personal estate.
