Title	Coneyance by John G Barnes of Ashgate in the parish of Brampton esquire, John Drabble of Chesterfield gentleman, Reverend Lawrence Short of Ashover, Wooton B Thomas of Chesterfield gentleman, John Lee of Wilkin House, Ashover, farmer, and William Clay of Shirland Park esquire, to James Milnes of Matlock gentleman and Charles Milnes of Ashover gentleman of a close called Westedge Close in Ashover (4 acres 2 roods 8 perches) on equal shares, together with an assignment of the residue of a leasehold term in a farm at Amber Lane (23 acres 24 perches) in equal shares

Recital of will of Samuel Owtram (1820); recovery of the estate (1826) to use of Samuel Owtram (son of Samuel) and his heirs; mortgage in £800 by Owtram to Barnes (1827); further mortgage in £800 (1829). Conveyance of premises (1839) to Drabble in trust to sell premises; and conveyance to Short, Thomas and Lee (1831)in trsut to sell; also assignment of mortgage term by Barnes to William Milnes of Stubbin Edge Hall, Ashover esquire, in trust and to attend the inheritance and covenant by George Nuttall of Matlock gentleman with James and Charles Milnes for production of title deeeds and to pay an annuity of Hannah, daughter of Samuel Owtram (died 1820).
