Settlement by way of lease and release by Samuel Haslam of Ashover gentleman and Mary Ann his wife whereby Samuel conveys a messuage called The Red Lion and its enclosure allotment to William Milnes of Ashover gentleman and John Bower of Chesterfield gentleman

Description
To hold in trust for Samuel for his life, and then to John Haslam of Ashover gentleman; second son of Samuel, reserving to Mary Ann a life interest; Samuel also conveys to his trustees one-fortyfourth share in Gregory Grove or Mine in Ashover and one-fortyeigth share in Cockwell and Overton Groves or Mine, to pay the profits to SAmuel for life, and then to make up Mary Ann's income to £50 a year, any surplus to towards paying Samuel's debts (specified); then the income to be invested and a moiety to be used to maintain Eleanor Ann Haslam, daughter of Thomas son of Samuel and the other moiety to maintain Elizabeth Radford Haslam, daughter of the above John Haslam.
