Originally proposed in 1968 for 12 working boys; approval for 12 working boys and residential staff in May 1970 when it was first named Albany House and called AH Family Centre. Albany House provided residential accommodation for 12 adolescents over school age in 1973. There were 6 long-term placements provided in March 1997. From 01/04/2013 name changed to Evergreen. The home was then refurbished, providing 5 bedrooms. Units: No units. Had 5 bedrooms but as at February 2016 housed only 2 residents. Clientele: As at 2016, the home accommodated children aged 11-17 for medium to long term. This home was closed in 2018.
