Lease and release by 1. Thomas Walker of Holme Hall, Bakewell, yeoman to 2. Hugh Davenport of Taxall, county Chester yeoman for £60, of messuage in Bowdonhead in which George Shirt the younger lives with buildings, orchards, gardens, fold yards and backsides, closes and pieces of land, meadow or pasture called the Lower Close, Over Close, Further Slackfield, three doles or parcels of land in the Great Slackfield, dole in close called Oakeryding lower part of orchard as now divided, a round garden lying above the dwelling place, two closes called the Wash meadows with barn and buildings thereon
