Abijah Gilbert of Coxbich, county Leicester yeoman eldest son of Mary (Markham) and John Gilbert, by which for 5s paid by Gilbert to the Markhams and in consideration of Mary's love for her son, the Markhams appointed with the Hills' consent, property as in D 779B/T 1142-3 to Gilbert.
