DescriptionThat John, for £140 to be paid by Joseph (£100 by 25 Dec, £40 by 10 April 1652) and for 140 to be paid by Joseph to Robert Houlden of Aston gent, brother of John and Joseph on behalf of John, at the time appointed in indenture dated 11 Jan 1650/1 (see D 779B/F 6-7) has assigned to Joseph 2 messuages in Wilne with all buildings and lands belonging late in John's tenure and 3 yardlands belonging to the messuages, in Aston, Wilne and Shardlow, for John's life and for all the unexpired term formerly granted to John, paying rent of £2 16s and John will deliver possession of all the arable which ought to lie fallow the next year and all meadows and pastures, common or common of pastures with all green sords grounds on 25 Dec next, saving half an acre ley of pasture ground in Shardlow field on the furlong called Fleetlands, and John shall continue in the messuage house and have the yards and outbuildings until 10 April 1652, and may plough, manure, till, sow, reap and use the crop of white corn and peas now growing "of parcel of the three Yard Land", and he may have the benefit of the 3 yard lands of arable that is to be sowed the next crop until 29 Sep 1652 and shall then deliver possession of all the arable ground so to be sowed the next year.
