DescriptionReciting lease and release dated 26, 27 August 1741 made between i) John son of John Lowe deceased and ii) Robert Holden, in which Lowe for £1,200 mortgaged to Holden the premises mentioned in indentures of even date made between 1) John Lowe as 2. above sole executor of his father 2) John Lowe of Denby esquire son and heir of Vincent Lowe late of Denby esquire deceased 3) Dorothy widow of John Lowe late of Park Hall, Prudence, Jane, Elizabeth and Theodosia surviving daughters and younger childen of John Lowe of Park Hall deceased and 1)'s sisters 4) Robert Holden as 1. above 5) Joseph Greaves of Ingleby gentleman 6) Reverend John Rolleston rector of Aston, in which the same £1,200 was paid by Holden at John Lowe of Park Hall's direction to his sisters in discharge of their fortunes, and witnessing that for £1,272 paid to Holden by Heathcote and for £328 advanced to Lowe of Park Hall by Heathcote, Holden at Lowe's direction granted to Heathcote, a capital messuage called Park Hall, lands etc belonging, in the possession of Lowe, house and croft in the possession of Joshua Harrison, houses and land in the possession of widow Harrison, Joseph and Roger Harrison, lands in possession of Paul Brentnall, interest for life in 2 parcels of inclosed grounds in possession of John Bardell with coppice, and interest for life in house in possession of Jonathan Hall, house in possession of Patrick Parkin, close in possession of Richard Riley, 2 closes in possession of John Smith, closes in possession of Joseph and John Barber and coppice belonging, his estate for life in close called Byards Pingle and 2 parcels of land called Shardlow Pingles in the possession of John Lowe, all in the parish of Denby (except Barbers over close and Pingle belonging in the possession of John Lowe).
