Writ to sheriff of Derbyshire to take Raph Chapman, Richard Palfryman, Alice Hill widow and Richard Clarke gentleman to appear in court of upper bench at Westminster on Saturday next after the Morrow of Ascension to answer Robert Houlden gentleman, reciting that the sheriff of Middlesex had been commanded to take them to appear in the same court to answer Houlden [? in a plea of trespass] but that the sheriff had returned that they were not in his bailwick.
