Description
Where dated, they run from 1639 to 1641. The sums are ? money borrowed (apparently relating to bonds above, D 779B/E 8, D 779B/E 10, D 779B/E 13, D 779B/E 11) for purchase of barley and an old horse, legal expenses, money paid to brother John for 'you', 'for the Cattles meate at Derby'; 'for my brother Wandell' etc, with reference also to 'your Cattle'. 'You' is probably Sale. At the foot is an allowance from John Sale to Mr Willimott of this account, desiring Willimott to pay his cousin Robert Houldin £14 13s 4d, this being Willimott 's discharge.
