Title
Lease by 1. Reverend Charles Shuttleworth Holden of Aston clerk to 2. John Brookhouse of Derby "plaisterer" and Joseph Johnson of Derby coal dealer of mine or quarry of "plaister" in field in Aston lately in the occupation of John Moorley, since and late of George Moorley, called the Aston Hills, with liberty to enter, to dig and lead away plaister and to use the railway from the mine or quarry through the lands of 1. to the bridge over the Grand Trunk Canal in Aston called Hickins Bridge, with sufficient space upon Holden's land being the bank of the Canal to wharf and deposit plaister from the mine or quarry, to hold from 5 April last for 3 years, paying rent of £120 and paying parliamentary and parochial taxes. 2. are to maintain the railway, and may erect a kiln for plaister burning upon Holden's land near to the mine or quarry or to the line of the canal, provided that if it is built near the quarry, it shall not be in such a situation that it will be a nuisance to the road or lane from the Derby and London turnpike to Aston
