DescriptionReciting that for many years there has been a wooden bridge for horses and foot passengers across the Derwent from Wilne Holme, in liberties of Wilne and Draycott, belonging to Holden and occupied by Gervas Chambers, and near to Wilne Mills, belonging to the Earl of Harrington and occupied by party 2 and others, that the bridge became ruinous and party 2 took it down to build another, that it would be more convenient to realign it and the road over Wilne Holme to the mills, that party 2 are willing to build the bridge at their own expense and that Holden has agreed to allow them to place the bridge as set out (details are given), and witnessing that Holden agrees to the erection of a new wood bridge positioned as above and 2 agree to pay Holden to whom that part of Wilne Holme which lies in Draycott Liberty belongs, rent of 1s and to permit him, his servants and lessees of Wilne Holme, to use the bridge with or without horses and empty carriages without payment
