TitleGift by Lord Geoffrey Gresley, knight, to John Ridel of Morton, of a half virgate of land in part in township of Morton, with an adjacent meadow which land John above said formerly held in the same. And a messuage with an adjacent toft and croft, which Inglis of Morton once held. And a messuage with a toft and croft which Roger over le Grene once held in Morton. Moreover the grantor gives to the same John and his heirs one messuage with 12 acres of arable land and 3 acres of adjacent meadow which William Ridel, father of the said John once held in Morton. And one acre of meadow in Colmor; and one piece of arable land in a meadow belonging which is called le Hasuli, which said John once held; and headland of arable land at French Hills extending from the King's way as far as the head of the croft of John Wymer, lying between the lands of Lord Geoffrey Gresley and of the said John Ridel.
