Settlement by lease and release by Daniel Watson of Burton-on-Trent esq. and Mary his wife, daughter of Sir Thorpe Gresley deceased to William Inge of Thorpe. Constantine esq. and William Burslem of Newcastle under Lyme gent of two closes called Hodgkins and Eamescroft of land in Draycott [in the Clay] and Coton [ in the Clay] (Co Stafford) which Daniel purchased with a legacy of £300 from Sir Thomas to Mary (as directed in the will of Sir Thomas), to hold in trust for Mary and Daniel
