| Title | Lease for one year between Thomas Wilkes of Overseal, gentleman, the Revd William Gresley of Netherseal, clerk; the Revd George Mether of Cubley, in the county of Derby, clerk, named in the last will and testament of the Revd Thomas Gresley late of Four Oaks in the parish of Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshrie, of the one part and William Pycroft of Overseal, gentleman for a parcel of meadow or pasture ground laying in Netherseal containing 2 acres, one rood and 35 perches commonly known by the name of the Main Dych or between Bitches late in the occupation of James Bailey but now of Mr John Wiles and all that close, piece or parcel of meadow or pasture ground lying in Nether Seal containing one acre one rood and twenty perches lying in Netherseal called the Smithy Irons late also in the occupation of the said James Bailey but now of the said William Gresley. Also all that parcel of land containing two acres and 10 perches being lately part of a certain close called the Grange Wood, Nether seal, late in the occupation of Isaac Hawkins of Burton upon Trent, esq., but now of the said William Gresley. And also that piece or parcel of enclosed land or meadow ground called the Bridge Meadow containing 3 roods and 25 perches lying in the parish of Clifton Campville, Co. Stafford. |
