Description[L1] Conveyance by Henry Capenhurst of Netherseal husbandman and Christopher Leedham of Seal Grange in the parish of Netherseal yeoman to Thomas Gresley of Netherseal Esq., re several enclosed closes called Nook Close and Town End Meadow, both in Netherseal. Consideration £93 paid to Capenhurst, 13 Apr 1733. With Assignment by Robert Spare of Stanley (Co. Warwick), gent, one of the sons and administrator of the will of Richard Spare of Netherseal, yeoman, deceased, Thomas Spare and John Spare sons of Richard, and William Spare son of William Spare (another son of Richard) and Sir Thomas Gresley of Drakelow, Bart, and Thomas Gresley, Esq. lord of the manor of Netherseal, to William Leedham of Netherseal, yeoman, of the Moore Close, the Nooke Close, and the Townend Meadow in Netherseal, to hold for the residue of term of 1000 years. Recital of lease for 1000 years, 17 Apr 1699; Mortgage in £80 by demise for term of 500 years by William Leedham Sen of Netherseal yeoman and Christopher Leedham his son and heir to Henry Capenhurst of Netherseal re the Nooke Close and the Town End Meadow in Netherseal, 6 Apr 1722; Note by Christopher Leedham promising to surrender all his right and title to Mr Gresley, 7 Apr 1733 (1699-1733)
