Reciting:
1) Settlement by lease and release on the marriage of William Gresley (now Sir William) and Barbara Oakeley daughter of John Walcott of Walcott (Co Salop) Esq. whereby Sir Thomas Gresley of Drakelow Bart (father of William) and William conveyed to Sir Richard Burdett, Walter Burdett, Sir Gilbert Clarke, and Charles Walcott all those manors of Gresley Drakelow and Lullington, to hold the manor and various closes in Lullington in trust for William for life and then in trust for Barbara his wife for her jointure and to hold the manor house of Lullington and all other premises to the use of Sir Thomas for life and then to hold the manor of Drakelow (various closes excepted) to the use of Frances wife of Sir Thomas for life for her jointure and then to hold all the remaining lands not so limited and reserved to the use of Thacker and Skeffington from the death of Sir Thomas for term of 100 years to raise portions of £1000 each (interest 5 per cent) for Ann Lettice and Sarah daughters of Sir Thomas.
