A map of all ye Lands belonging to Robt. Newton in his Manour of Mickle-over in ye County of Derby survey'd by Jo. Dickinson. Anno 1736. Surveyor:John Dickinson. Scale: of chains [1:3200] with dividers. Size: 130 x 90 cm. Materials: coloured ink and paint on parchment. Centred on: SK305343 Notes: 16 point compass rose with north-west at top. Well drawn estate survey with later additions in sepia ink: shows village with church and houses in elevation: named fields with strips, named closes with tenant's reference letter and number, reference table at side of map: Windmill closes and Street closes: some streets named, 'Mickleover Common or The Old Field' marked: elaborate title cartouche and coat of arms cartouche with crossed bones and 'huic habeo non tibi' motto.
