Description
Lancelot Colyns, treasurer of the cathedral church of St. Peter of York, to Edmond Moumforth of Kylnehyrste, prior to the marriage of Christopher Moumforth, son and heir of Edward Moumforth and Elisabeth Kitchynge. Edmond agrees to convey to Lancelot and to Milys Spenser, doctor of both laws, Thomas Langton, Thomas Wentworth, John Leke, and Edward Barston, the manor of Kylnhirst with appurtenances and a piece of meadow in Swynton called Merestones; to stated uses with provisions for Christopher's guardianship until he is 21. Edmond to bear the cost of Christopher's clothes on the marriage day.
