Description | Award made by Robert Greffe and John Chrosland between John Tomson of the parish of Bradfelde and the 'Neiburs of Hawsworthehed', who have demanded a certain liberty contrary to custom, as follows:- by a previous award made by 'my lorde and hys consell' of a certain way lying through the said John's ground and a parcel of 'my lordes' ground, it was awarded that the 'Neyburys' should have a way after custom as their elders had, that is, a pathway through the said ground from Caldelmas (?) to michaelmas, and the latter end of the year, from Michaelmas to Candelmas day, to have a sufficient way for a horse loading and to come in to the way at the west part of the house of the said John; to which award the said John and the neyburs are agreed to continue for ever.
