Title
'Whillock's notebook'
Date
1667-1747
Description
This appears to have belonged to several members of the Whillock family, including Richard Whillock (family unidentified). It includes some information on Whillock family births, marriages and deaths, as well as accounts, particularly detailed accounts of what was spent on family funerals in drink, food, etc. A large portion of the book appears to be a farming diary, with detailed descriptions of the weather. The place names Butterton, Grindon, and Leek are mentioned in early pages.
