Description
John, Earl of Rutland (to whom Rowland Eyre's forfeited estates were lately granted by the Trustees of the Commonwealth, during the life of Rowland), Rowland Eyre of Hassop and Thomas Eyre, his son and heir, to Katherine, daughter of Philip Kempe late of Slynden (co. Sussex), deceased, John Caryll of Harting (co. Sussex), John Webb of London, Francis Caryngton alias Smith of Wooton-Wawen (co. Warwicks) and (nine others). The manors of Hassop, Rowland, Calver, Thornhill and Wormhill, and other premises in Derbyshire, for which they agree to levy a fine and carry out other legal processes; in consideration of £4,000, being Katherine's portion, to stated uses, including the paying off the debts in a schedule attached (amounting to £11,000)
