Description
Roland Eyre of Hassopp and Nicholas Blackwall of Hampstall Rudware [co. Staffs], agree that Thomas Eyre, son of Roland, shall marry Prudence Blackwall, daughter of Nicholas. Roland is to convey before the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, to Edmund Stephenson of Onston and Anthony Blackwall of Tadington, an estate in fee simple in Hassoppe, Rollande, Calver, Tadyngton, Prestcliffe, Whestston, Little Hucklowe, Great Longsden, Castleton, Bakwell, Over haddon and Bubnell, to the use of Thomas Eyre and his male issue, in default of which to his other sons in order of age. Rolland agrees to assign the lease which he has in the moiety of the manor of Hassopp, late in the inheritance of Sir Yngram Clifford, deceased, to Thomas Eyre before All Saints; and also to grant him eight oxen, twelve kyen, and two hundred cows. Nicholas agrees to convey to the trustees estates in Tadyngton, Stearndale, Cowlowe and the five acres in the county of Derby, to be held to the use of Nicholas and Shenoe, his wife, then to Prudence and her issue.
