| Description | Thomas Gargrave of Wakefield, the elder and Robert Chaloner of the same, gentlemen, make award, for settling the strife which has arisen between Elizabeth Robert, late wife of John Robert of Wakefield, deceased, and Nicholas Hargreaves of the same town, smith. The feoffees in trust under the conveyance of Oct. 12, 1520 (see no.Bag C/2557) are to be enfeoffed of the lands; all debts are to be discharged between Elizabeth and Nicholas on his payment to her of 28 shillings; William Roberts is to be under the governance of the two arbiters during his nonage and Elizabeth is to receive 12 shillings yearly as her dower and third part. |
