Description
Rowland Eyre of Hassop, Thomas Eyre, his son and heir, and Thomas Rogers of Tamworth (co. Warwick) agree with William Pargiter of Cliffords Inn:- That Rogers will purchase of the trustees for the sale of delinquents' estates, pasture and meadow grounds called The Bentlies in Maveson Ridware (co. Staffs), heretofore belonging to Rowland (about 100 acres), and that Rogers and Eyre will make a good title in law to Pargiter and William Lyon; that Pargiter shall pay to Eyre and Rogers in all £800 (in specified sums). They add certain provisions in case the land shall be purchased by any other person, or that they are unable to make a legal title.
