Description
Thomas de Chaward, lord of Osberton, to Richard son of Ingelram of Styrap and Elizabeth, his wife. Sixteen pence of annual rent which Henry Casteleyn of Osberton pays in return for one messuage, one bovate, and four acres of land in Osberton, with homage, relief and other services. Thomas also grants them one grinding from the corn they bring to his mill to be ground for the use of their household and the residue of the corn found on the hopper of the mill. For one penny payable at the feast of St. Dionysus. In return for this grant Richard and Elizabeth quitclaim to Thomas all rights, etc., to a messuage in Osberton which Robert Bulmer held and two pieces of meadow lying near Casteleynbrigge formerly held by Roger de Osberton. n.d.
