Description
Edward Bedingfeld petitions the Lords Commissioners for the custody of the Great Seal concerning certain lands which he purchased of Thomas Eyre, deceased, in Clifton, which Francis Strutt has obtained as a grant from the Crown 'upon pretence that the same were settled by the said Mr. Eyre to superstitious uses and were Jesuites lands'.
A note is added appointing 13th November, at 3 o'clock for hearing the case. 30th October, 1691.
