Description | Ffrancis Lord Deincourt of Sutton in the Dale (co. Derby), to Thomas Milward of Eaton, esquire, and ffrancis Curtis of Somerleys, gentleman. All the manors of Sutton-in-the-dale, Duckmanton, Pleisley, Dore alias Dower, Scarcliffe, Palterton, Little Normanton, North Wingfield and Parkhall, with all lands, rights, etc. belonging; and the manors, farms or granges called Holme, Birley, Dunston, Bayarley alias Barley, Harwood alias Horwood and Monckwood alias Monckfield; and all other manors, messuages, cottages in (in addition to the above) Boythorpe, Ogarthorpe, Tupton, Tibshelfe, Alferton, Cotes, Swanwicke, Haughton, Glapwell, Clowne, Hucknall, Chesterfield, Brampton, Wadshelf, etc; concerning all which lands Lord Deincourt will suffer a recovery, by which John Lawrence of Sutton-in-the-Dale, gentleman, and William Alwood of Normanton, yeoman, shall stand seized as trustees; for entailing the estate and providing for his younger sons and daughters. |
