Description
Thomas Middleton of Westowne (co. Derby), yeoman, to Robert Middleton, his son and heir. Two messuages in Westowne (in one of which Thomas Middleton, son of the above Thomas, dwells), with meadows, etc. belonging, and a parcel of land called Dale side; providing that Robert pays off the mortgage of one hundred pounds on Dale side, to the mortgagee, Sir Nathaniel Curzon; and providing for an annual payment of £8 to Thomas Middleton and his wife for their joint lives (the survivor to have £4) unless they prefer to dwell with the said Robert.
