Description
Thomas Meverell, of Throwley (co. Staffs), senior, esquire, to Nicholas Meverell, his son. All messuages, lands, rents, etc. in Shatton, Burgh, Thornehill and Aston, and a forestership in Eydale, which he had of Owin Coterell, son of Nicholas Coterell, late of Bucstones; to hold to Nicholas and his issue male, with remainder to each of his four illegitimate sons (Sampson, Edward, Humfrey and John Meverell). 24th June (Feast of St. John the Baptist), 1487.
