Description
John, son of William, son of Geoffrey le Smythisson of Bradewalle, to Roger, son of Robert, son of William le Smytisson. A half bovate of land with meadow lying adjacent, with all fardels [measures] of meadow belonging to John between the Snyvelandeschiche and Saltewalle in Bradewalle, excepting a piece of meadow lying between the Gretedich and Gorehuctis (?), and the fardel of Mikellouwe; of which land one rood lies in the White half acres next to the land of Roger, son of Robert, under the Hendepludde; a half rood in Dockeholm next to the Schiche of John, son of Nicholas de Bradewalle; two roods and a half in Ryeyherd on the Gretedich; half a rood at Priorcroftehened next to the schiche of Robert, son of John Nale; a rood in Suthfeld next to the land of Richard Larcher; a half acre in Suthfeld next to the land of William, son of Robert; one rood projecting on the Balledrocher which is 'Havedlond de Honkerhul'; half an acre in Middilforlongh next to the land of William, son of Robert de Bradewalle; a half an acre in Morforlongh next to the land of William, son of Robert; a half acre in Dritty half acres in Braddale next to the land of Richard Badekock; a half acre in the same furlong next to the land of Roger, son of Robert; a rood in Nether Braddale next to the land of John, son of Nicholas de Roderam; a rood at Dwerigrave(?) next to the land of Richard Badekock; a half rood projecting on Mikelouwe next to the land of Richard Badekock; and a half acre lying on Moforlongh next to the land of Roger, son of Robert de Bradewalle; for a sum of money. Given at Castilton, 26th May [Wednesday in week of Pentecost], 1333.
