William Fitzherbert of Norbury (co. Derby), esquire, and Basill Fitzherbert, his son and heir (to whom payment is made), and William Leech of Shipley (co. Derby), son and heir of Sir Edward Leech, deceased, Sir John Evelyn of Godstone (co. Surrey), Richard Hatton of the Middle Temple, and Ambrose Phillipps, late the servant of Sir Edward Leech, to Thomas Eyre of Hassop, esquire and Rowland Eyre, his son and heir. Messuage or farm in Thornhill, in the possession of Humfrey Smilter and Anthony Tomason and closes (named). The very full warranty clauses include anyone claiming under the title of Katherine Milward, wife of John Milward, Mary Lewen, wife of William Lewen, or Anne Congrave, wife of Richard Congrave.
