Description
Margaret, Lady Clyfford and Henry, eldest son and heir of John, Lord Clyfford and of Margaret, and William Eure, knight. The latter binds himself in £100 to Margaret and Henry to pay certain rents; quoting a deed of 11 September, 1483, by which the said Margaret and Henry granted to William lands, rents, etc., in Aton in Pykerynglyth (co. York.), except the south east half part of a certain wood called Nowtstyes, at an annual rent of £14, to be paid [ad = at/to ?] the altar of the blessed Virgin Mary in the north part of the church of monastery of Old Malton.
