Description
Sir William Plompton to William Gargrave, Thomas Garth, John Garth, and John Elys, clerk. The manors of Derley, Stanton, Pillesley, Wormehill, and property, etc. in Edynsore, Wardelowe, Baukewell, Martynside, Qweston, Tiddeswall, Hurdlowe, Chelmerton, Flagfeld and Castleton; the advowson of a chantry in the church of Baukewell and two closes called Bussenhay or Combes, and Betfeld excepted; on condition that the grantees enfeoff Robert Plompton, son of grantor, and Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Thomas de Clifford and Westmorland within five years of the present grant with the above mentioned manors. If Robert and his wife die without heirs, the property remains in the possession of the grantor. Proviso for re-entry if condition of grant not fulfilled.
