DescriptionThe recited lease is as follows: Francis Eyre, Earl of Newburgh, to William Kitchen. A parcel of land in Calver whereon a Water corn mill was lately standing with the sluice and dams and a private road to the same; for the purpose that Kitchen should erect a new stone mill, machine or engine within one year at a cost of £500; for 21 years at a rent of £20
