Administrative HistoryThe Moors for the Future Partnership was formed in February 2003 with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. As at 2012, the following organisations were partners: Peak District National Park Authority, National Trust, Natural England, United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water, Derbyshire County Council and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. The partnership works for the management and restoration of moorlands in the Peak District and South Pennines.
Custodial HistoryThese records were donated to Derbyshire Record Office in May 2012.
