Administrative History | Alistair Gordon was from Aberdeen originally, born in 1943. He qualified professionally as a quantity surveyor, becoming an associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1967. He came to Matlock in 1978 to work for Clifford Webb and Partners on Wellington Street. He later got a job with McGill and partners as Site Quantity Surveyor on the tunnelling contracts for Carsington Water reservoir, a position which made him, responsible for all post-contract duties. |
