Description
The early pages are missing. List of rules and forfeits, miscellaneous names and an index of contents of the volume on the front inside cover. There is a list of members of the Society on the last page, alongside the words to Henry Harington's "On A Musician's Tomb", inscribed by Stephen Skidmore. The volume includes music for the 47th Psalm and the Magnificat by Anthony Greatorex, Organist at Burton-on-Trent. The end paper at the back of the volume bears a statement that the book is the property of the Society of Singers of Ashford, 10 May 1781
