Between Revd Samuel Evatt, minister of the Presbyterian Dissenting Congregation of Ashford and Samuel Bagshaw esquire of the Ford, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Thomas Froggatt gentleman of Bakewell, John Wilkinson grocer of Chesterfield, Richard Slater mercer of Chesterfield, John Creswell grocer of Ashford, John Harris the elder husbandman of Ashford, John Harris the younger yeoman of Ashford, Samuel White yeoman of Ashford, George White yeoman of Ashford, Charles Hall dyer of Ashford, Joseph Blackden yeoman of Sheldon and John Smith dyer of Great Rowsley re the annual income from the sum of £180, part of £200 lent by Samuel Evatt on the credit of the Act for repairs of the Chesterfield Hernstone Lan Head Turnpike, is to be applied as follows: 20s pa to the curate of Ashford, 40s pa to the Minister of the Ashford Presbyterian Dissenting Chapel, 20s pa to the master of Ashford Free Grammar School, £2 8s pa to Samuel Evatt while Presbyterian Minister at Ashford and any residue (and the £2 8s when Samuel Evatt ceases to be Presbyterian Minister at Ashford) for weekly distributions of bread to the poor of Ashford
