| Administrative History | This is one of the ancient parishes of the county. It includes Belph, Bakeston Moor, Hodthorpe and part of Creswell. The mission church of St Martin at Hodthorpe opened in 1898 and closed in 1991. All Saints Chapel, Steetley, was a Norman church which was rediscovered, restored and reconsecrated in 1880. |
