Description
Identified as Milford Bh [British] School and Messrs Strutt School in headings. As required by the Factory and Workshop Act of 1878, for the boys who worked for Messrs Strutt in Belper. There is a column for morning or afternoon attendances noting the date and reason for any absence. Early entries signed by Sam Wright and then by George Brindley.
Labelled 189 on front flyleaf. Covers detached, with some pages loose, as a result of water damage in spine area.
