Administrative History | Kingsmoor School was a co-educational school providing private education for children with special circumstances such as broken homes. The pupils were a mixture of boarders and day pupils, who were given a certain amount of free to structure their own curriculum. The school first opened in 1927 at Glossop Hall. In 1956, it was re-located to Oakwood Hall in Romiley (Lancashire) and, a decade later, to Hadfield. In the 1990s, the school closed down altogether. |
