Title
Photograph album
Date
1941-1945
Description
Contains photographs of the places visited by HMS Birmingham. Some seem to have been professional pictures which were probably bought in port while some seem to have been taken by Frank Byard himself. Portraits of individuals, mainly family, are to be found at the back. The album appears to be contemporary and, according to a label on the back cover, was purchased in Mombasa, one of the places that the ship docked.
