Title
Crane rescue at the Loco Works Open day
Description
This picture was taken on an open day when the general public were allowed onto the works. This is a picture of crane rescue practice as done on a regular basis by railway ambulance men. Wilf Tunnicliffe, a male nurse from the ambulance room, is supervising and can be seen wearing a white coat. This was practised in case a crane driver or maintenance man was taken ill or injured.
