by John Monk Morgan of Durant Hall, Chesterfield, esq, and Dame Barbara his wife, formally wife of Sir Talbot Clarke Bt. deceased, to Richard Slater of Chesterfield, mercer of a messuage, croft, and two houses in the market place; Grattons House in Holliwell Street: and Little Long Home Close and the Narrow Close in Spittle, Hasland, within the parish of Chesterfield. Recital of fine and indentures (1726-28) by Morgan and his wife to Richard Bagshaw of Castleton esq, and William Bagshaw of Ford, Chapel-en-le-Frith gent., to raise £2,500. Consideration £315.
