Longcliffe Goods

Description
One of the very early LNW McConnell four-wheel tender frames and tank No.5. This may be one of the second batch of tanks received by the CHPR from Crewe on the 11th July 1863. The cast-iron plate on the tender frame reads "L&NW Tank No.5". The tank is situated on the ramp at Longcliffe Goods, note the metal ladder to give a shorter route to the tank.
