Particulars of legal case brought at Derby by Christopher FitzRandolph, Clerk of the Peace, against Thomas Sacheverell formerly of London, gent, Robert Whitworth formerly of Pinxton husbandman, Henry Neweton, Laurence Neweton, Roger Colyer, all of Pinxton, William Neweton formerly of Hucknall, William Whitworth formerly of Sutton in Ashfield, tailor, Richard Neweton formerly of Kirby in Ashfield and Robert Hyne formerly of Sutton in Ashfield for breaking into Christopher FitzRandolph's enclosure, killing two of his oxen, destroying his crops and committing other offences, all in Pinxton. Date fixed for settling case amicably.
