Draft surrender (by endoresement) by (1) John Gildge of 142 South Lambeth Road, Surrey, gentleman; to (2) the Rev Charles Maxwell of Wyddial, Hertfordshire, clerk in holy orders, and Charles Gipps Prowett of Dr Johnson's Buildings, Inner Temple, City of London, esq, barrister of law; and (3) the said C G Prowett; to (4) Benjamin Nevill and the said C G Prowett; - of a term of 1,000 years in lands devised by the will of the late Rev George Mason who died on 4 Dec 1859 and appointed (1) as his trustees concerning his lands in Winster, Elton, Birchover, Brassington, and also at Blidworth (Nottinghamshire), and his copyhold estate at Turnditch, for the benefit of his daughter, Annie Farish (the wife of the said Charles Maxwell), and his grandchildren, and devised his remaining estates at Coddington, Holloway, and Lea (in the parishes of Crich and Ashover) and at Lindway Lane (in the parishes of Crich and Moreton) 30 Jan 1874
