Will of John Morton of Bretton, labourer, dated 31 May 1825 (but superseded by a later will which was proved at Lichfield on 13 Apr 1826) To my son, John, my house, etc, and effects, and two fields at Bretton called Unwin Edges (subject to half of the payment of legacies as listed below). To my son, Roger, two fields called Abraham's Edge (subject to half of the payment of legacies as listed below) and also the Common Piece. To my eldest son, Francis, £30; to eldest daughter, Mary Wilson, £10; to daughter, Ann Barnes, £10; to daughter Esther Morton £10; to daughter, Hannah Morton, £10 Executors: sons John and Roger
